How does pricing work if nothing is published online?

Every engagement's cost depends on scope, data volume, and customization, so a published price list would be misleading. Request a free quote and we'll send a written estimate broken down by deliverable within 24 hours.

Do you sign an NDA before we share details?

Yes, always, and before you share anything sensitive. It's standard on every engagement, not an add-on you have to request.

Is your team actually in-house, or do you subcontract work out?

Fully in-house. Every engineer, designer, and marketer on your project is DAB Inventive staff, not a subcontractor or an offshore vendor we've hired for the job.

How quickly do you respond to a new enquiry?

Within one business day on every form submission, call, or email, and usually sooner.

Do you only work with businesses in Mumbai or India?

No, our team is based in Mumbai but we deliver for clients worldwide. Most collaboration happens over calls and shared tools regardless of time zone.

What happens after launch, do you disappear?

No. Production support is part of how we work, not a separate sale you have to negotiate later. See our Process page for what post-launch support actually includes.

Can you take over a project another agency or freelancer left unfinished?

Yes, this is common. We assess what's already built, tell you honestly what's salvageable, and scope from there rather than assuming a full rebuild is required.

What engagement models do you offer besides a fixed project?

Fixed-scope projects, monthly advisory retainers, and dedicated embedded teams, among others. See our Engagement Models page for the full breakdown of which fits which situation.

How long does a typical web development project take?

A standard business website typically takes 3-5 weeks from signed scope to launch; a web application with logins and custom workflows usually runs 6-12 weeks depending on scope.

Can you modernize a legacy VB6 or WinForms system without a risky full rewrite?

Yes, legacy modernization is one of our core services. We assess whether a phased modernization or a targeted rewrite of the riskiest parts makes more sense before committing to either.

Do you offer ongoing IT support, or only one-time project work?

Both. IT Helpdesk & Managed Support and Production Support are standing services for teams that want an ongoing arrangement, not just a one-time build.

Can you review an architecture or vendor proposal before we commit to it?

Yes, Architecture Consulting is a standalone engagement for exactly this: an independent opinion before you commit budget to a technical direction.

Do you handle both the website build and the marketing that drives traffic to it?

Yes, Digital Marketing and SEO Services sit alongside development under the same roof, so a launch isn't followed by a scramble to find a separate marketing vendor.

What's the difference between hiring a Dedicated Team and a Fixed-Scope Project?

A fixed-scope project delivers a defined outcome on a set timeline. A dedicated team embeds our engineers into your own team and process for as long as you need the capacity. See our Engagement Models page for a full comparison.

Can I buy a product outright instead of renting it monthly?

Yes, every ready-made product is available either as a one-time purchase you host yourself, or as a monthly subscription we host and maintain. See the Products page for the full comparison.

Do the ready-made products get customized, or is it one-size-fits-all?

Every product ships with sensible defaults and then gets configured to your actual workflow before go-live. It's not a rigid template.

Can you build something custom if none of the seven products fit?

Yes. If nothing off-the-shelf fits your workflow, we scope a custom build instead, that's most of what our Development services cover.

Do ready-made products include support and updates?

Yes, an optional annual support and updates plan is available for outright purchases, and hosting, backups, and updates are included by default with a rental subscription.

Can I migrate data from our existing spreadsheets or old system into one of your products?

Yes, data migration and validation against your existing records is part of the standard onboarding for every product.

Do you only build for the 8 industries listed, or can you take on something else?

Those 8 are where we have the deepest sector-specific experience, but we take on projects outside them regularly. Talk to us about your specific business and we'll tell you honestly if it's a fit.

For healthcare or finance projects, how do you handle compliance and data sensitivity?

Role-based access control, audit trails, and in-house-only delivery (no offshore subcontracting) are standard on any project handling sensitive patient or financial data.

Can you support multi-branch or multi-campus operations, not just a single location?

Yes, this comes up often in education, healthcare, and retail work. Shared or location-specific data views are configured around how your operation is actually structured.

We're a nonprofit with a tight budget, do you scope differently for us?

Yes, we scope nonprofit engagements honestly against real budgets and tell you plainly what's achievable within it, rather than quoting enterprise rates.
