DAB Inventive ("we", "our", "us") builds websites, applications, and custom software for businesses, and this policy explains what information we collect when you visit dabinventive.com or engage us for a project, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of this website and to clients and prospective clients we correspond with by email, phone, or our contact and quote forms.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what your browser sends automatically.
Information you provide. When you use our contact form, quote form, or email us directly, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any project details or messages you write. If you request a quote, we also collect the service, budget range, and timeline you select. None of our forms ask for payment details, passwords, or government ID numbers, and you should never send us those through a web form.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and analytics tooling log standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps. This is used in aggregate to understand traffic and fix broken pages, not to identify you individually.
Cookies & Similar Technology
This site uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries, all functional rather than advertising-related:
- Session-level storage to remember UI state, such as whether the mobile navigation menu is open.
- Cookies set by Google Fonts and Font Awesome, the two CDN-hosted asset providers this site loads type and icons from.
- Cookies set by the Google Maps embed on our Contact page, if you load that page.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers or sell any data collected through cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function, though the map embed may not load.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact and quote forms, by email, phone, or WhatsApp.
- Scope, deliver, and support the projects we're engaged to build.
- Send transactional messages related to an active enquiry or engagement, such as a confirmation that we've received your message.
- Understand how visitors use the site so we can fix broken pages and improve navigation.
- Meet legal, accounting, and contractual obligations tied to a client engagement.
We do not use the information you submit through our forms for unrelated marketing email campaigns, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Form Submissions & Email Delivery
Messages submitted through this site's contact, quote, and service enquiry forms are delivered using EmailJS, a third-party transactional email service, directly from your browser to our inbox. Submitting a form sends your entered details to us and triggers an automatic confirmation email to the address you provided. We don't store form submissions in a separate marketing database beyond what's needed to respond to your enquiry.
Data Retention
We keep enquiry and project correspondence for as long as it's relevant to an active or prospective engagement, and afterward for as long as needed to meet accounting, tax, or contractual retention requirements, typically no longer than seven years. You can ask us to delete correspondence that falls outside those requirements at any time.
Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold, including restricting access to client data to the people actually working on an engagement and using reputable, security-conscious third-party services for hosting, email delivery, and communication. No system is completely immune to risk, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we treat client information as if it were our own.
Third-Party Services We Use
Running this website and our services involves a small set of third-party providers, each with their own privacy practices:
- EmailJS — delivers messages submitted through our website forms.
- Google Fonts & Google Maps — typography and the location embed on our Contact page.
- Font Awesome — the icon set used throughout the site, loaded from their CDN.
- WhatsApp Business — if you choose to message us via the WhatsApp link, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
Your Rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, to object to certain processing, or to ask for a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@dabinventive.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18, and if we become aware that we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services, tools, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
